Namchi, 24 September: A newly constructed house under the Sikkim Garib Aawas Yojana, allotted as part of the Jan Bhorosa Sammelan 2024, was officially inaugurated tod ay by the Hon’ble MLA of the area, Shri Bedu Singh Panth in presence of the Hon’ble Zilla Panchayat Members, Gram Panchayat of Tarku-Tanak GPU and representatives of the SKM Party including the Joint Secretary of SKM, Namchi District, the CLC President, along with the AE and staff of the BAC,involved in the implementation of the Yojana.
Under this Sammelan, a total of 279 beneficiaries from the block/constituency have been allotted homes, in addition to separate allotments under the Chief Minister’s Quota, Sangha Quota, and Sarathi Quota.
The Sikkim Garib Aawas Yojana is a commendable initiative by the Government of Sikkim aimed at ensuring housing and providing permanent shelter for the economically weaker sections of society.
