Press release from Amar Subba Marathon Man of Sikkim

Gyalshing,September 23:Today, Amar Subba the Marathon Man of Sikkim, will be departing for Malaysia to participate in the 50 Kilometres Ultra-Trial du Mont -Blanc( UTMB) Run,one of the toughest run participated by participants from across the world,which will be held on 27th of September, 2025 at Taiping,Malaysia.
This Ultra Marathon Run is organised by UTMB Malaysia.
Mr Subba will proudly be representing Sikkim (India)in this prestigious Run, carrying with him the Spirit of both endurance and Compassion.
Subba thanked the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Sikkim Shri PS Tamang-Golay for extending moral and financial support for the run and also expressed gratitude to Minister -Cum-Area MLA Mr Bhim Hang Limboo and Minister for Tourism & Civil Aviation Mr Tshering T Bhutia for the financial support and moral boost.
Further,Subba expressed heartfelt gratitude to
RO, Forest Environment and Wildlife Management Department, Yuksam Mr Tenzing W Bhutia,friends and well-wishers for the continued support and encouragement for the cause.
It is to mention that nomination of Mr Subba comes up after having been qualified in UTMB Run of 100 miles held at Puna (Maharashtra) and 80 Kms held at Visakhapatnam (Andhra Pradesh)and secured 3 in both the Runs.
