Block Level Orientation for Aadi Karmayogi Abhiyan concludes in Chungthang Block
Chungthang, Sept 19:
The two-day Block Level Process Lab (BPL) Orientation for officials of the Chungthang Block, held under the 'Aadi Karmayogi Abhiyan'—a mission for transformative and responsive governance in tribal areas—successfully concluded today, September 19, 2025.
The training sessions, which began on September 18, were expertly conducted by a dedicated team of resource persons, including:
DMT: Mr. Sherap Bhutia, BMTs: Mr. Ongden Lepcha (AEO, Chungthang), Dr. Pempa Lepcha (MO, Chungthang PHC), Mr. Tshering Youngda (PI), Mr. Rinzing Norbu Lepcha (RO, Forest),
and Mr. Thupden Lepcha (Social Welfare) and under the supervision of Block Nodal Officer Mr. Johna Targain (BDO Chungthang BAC).
The concluding session was graced by the presence of esteemed officials, including the SDM Chungthang, ADC Dev Chungthang, Panchayat President, and other Panchayat members. The training, which was attended by all trainees, provided a comprehensive understanding of the mission's objectives and practical tools for its implementation at the grassroots level.
The program concluded on a high note with a formal certificate distribution ceremony. The certificates were presented to the trainees by the SDM ,Panchayat President, Zilla Panchayat and ADC Dev, acknowledging their successful participation and commitment to the mission.
The orientation is expected to significantly enhance the capabilities of the village-level officers in driving transformative change within the tribal areas of Chungthang Block.
