Two-Day Aadi Karmayogi Training for Village Master Trainers Concludes at BAC Passingdang
Dzongu, 19/09/2025:
The two-day Block Process Lab under the Aadi Karmayogi Abhiyan for Village Master Trainers (VMTs) concluded today at the Block Administrative Centre (BAC), Passingdang, Dzongu.
The closing day witnessed the active participation of Anganwadi workers and helpers, Self-Help Groups, teachers, local gentries, and VMTs. The sessions were facilitated by Block Master Trainers, including Mr. Netuk Lepcha, Deputy Director-cum-CDPO Passingdang; Dr. Sahil Pradhan, Dental Surgeon, Hee Gyathang PHC; Mr. Ongay Lepcha, Range Officer, Dzongu; Mr. Palzor Lepcha, Panchayat Inspector, BAC Passingdang; and Mr. Nima Lepcha, DEO, BAC Passingdang.
Serving as observers and District Master Trainers were Shri Karma Tshering Bhutia, Joint Director, Education Department, Mangan, and Shri Vikash Chettri.
Key highlights of the training included team-building exercises, paper squares, and fish bowl activities. A major focus was on the Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) exercise, enabling VMTs to gain hands-on knowledge of the process involved in preparing a Village Development Plan (VDP).
The programme concluded with a formal valedictory session, where certificates were awarded to all participating VMTs.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Mahendra Tamang, Block Nodal Officer-cum-Block Development Officer, Passingdang, expressed gratitude to the trainers, guests, and participants, and emphasized the importance of teamwork in the upcoming Village Development exercise starting from September 22, 2025.
