An Awareness cum Health camp was successfully organised by AYUSH department , District Hospital Singtam under ‘Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar Abhiyan’ on September 17, 2025.
The program started with inauguration by the Director/CMO Dr. Ashok Rai in presence of DMS Dr Raju Singh. It was conducted with special focus on woman well -being addressing various issues like nutrition, anaemia, menstrual cycle,reproductive and adolescent health ,cancer etc with AYUSH intervention.
Screening for BMI, BP, RBS and Haemoglobin was also done in the camp. Consultation, counseling and free distribution of Ayurveda and homoeopathy medicine was done by AYUSH doctors. Therapeutic Yoga consultation was also done in the camp by Yoga and Naturopathy medical officer.
The camp was led by Dr. Manisha Kumari, Dr Kiran Singh, Dr Aradhana Sharma with support of IEC cell, lab technicians , paramedic staffs and ASHAs.
