72nd Battalion, Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Yuksam sets an exemplary humanitarian service – Asthma patient safely transported to a remote area
Gyalshing,September 16:Today under the able guidance of Commandant, 72nd Battalion, Sashastra Seema Bal (Yuksam) Mr Jai Prakash, an exceptional act of humanitarian service was demonstrated. At the request of President,12/Nambu-Sindrabung GPU Mr RB Limboo, assistance was urgently provided to Ms Aita Maya Limboo, wife of Mr Sembir Limboo, who was suffering from asthma and required immediate medical aid to be transported to her remote village,Tasenthang.
The personnel of the battalion, without wasting any time, quickly formed a special team, arranged necessary medical equipment including a stretcher, and despite challenging geographical conditions, safely transported her to her permanent residence. This act not only reflects courage and efficiency but also exemplifies service, dedication, and compassion.
