Gyalshing,September 9:District Level Team of Gyalshing District conducted Bi-monthly Inspection of Hydro Electric Power Project, operated by Shiga Energy Pvt. Ltd, located at Tashiding under Gyalshing district ,today.
The inspection team was led by DPO (DDMA)Gyalshing Mr Ganesh Kumar Rai accompanied by SFO/SI (Fire and Emergency Services)Mr Passang Tshering Bhutia,ASI Prakash Kalikotey,BO(Forest) Mr Dawa Tshering Lepcha,JE(Power) Mr Rabzang Chaktha, JE(WRD) Mr CS Dahal,DMS(LR&DM) Mr Nabin Gurung, officers and staff of Shiga Energy Pvt. Ltd.
The team assessed the effectiveness and safety protocols of the Hydro Power Project, focusing on enhancing safety and efficiency.
The team was informed that a medical team visits the site weekly, and an ambulance is made available for emergencies. The team could not conduct an inspection of the barrage site owing to obstruction on the access road.
The administration reviewed the actions taken since the last visit and found them satisfactory.
