District Level Team conducts Bi- Monthly inspection of Dams Associated with the
Rellichu HEP
Gyalshing, September 4:
A District-Level team conducted its bi-monthly inspection of dams associated with the Rellichu Hydro-Electric Power(HEP)in Gyalshing District,today.
The inspection was led by DPO DDMA Gyalshing Mr Ganesh Kumar Rai, accompanied by SDM Yuksam Mr CS Subba, SFO, Fire & Emergency Services Mr Passang Tshering Bhutia, BO Mr DT Lepcha,Tashiding Range staff,Police personnel from Tashiding Outpost, JE (Power), JE (WR), Ward Panchayat, and officials from Kundan HP.
Key findings and instructions at the time of inspection:
The Kundan Hydro Power Project is under construction and progressing smoothly.
DPO Gyalshing directed regular mock exercises for awareness and formation of search and rescue teams to enhance safety.
Signboards in local languages were noted at project sites.
Fire & Emergency Services emphasised keeping fire extinguishers up-to-date.
