Coordination-cum-Revenue Meeting Held at Pakyong Community Hall
Pakyong, August 30:
Under the direction of Hon’ble MLA-cum-Advisor, Power Department, Shri Sanjeet Kharel, a Coordination-cum-Revenue Meeting was successfully held today at Pakyong Community Hall. The meeting was chaired by Shri Bikash Deokota, PCE-cum-Secretary, Power Department.
The session witnessed the presence of key officials including Shri S.R. Bhutia, PCE Power Department; Shri TT Bhutia, PCE-cum-Nodal Officer Revenue; Shri Jeewan Thapa, Director, SREDA; along with Chief Engineers, Additional Chief Engineers, Superintending Engineers, Divisional Engineers, and other departmental officials.
During the meeting, various presentations were made by departmental officers highlighting the progress, challenges, and revenue aspects of the Power Department. The discussions focused on strengthening coordination among different wings of the department, enhancing efficiency in revenue collection, and addressing issues for improved service delivery to the public.
In his concluding remarks, Shri Bikash Deokota, PCE-cum-Secretary, emphasized the importance of collective responsibility, transparency, and timely execution of works. He urged all officials to work in close coordination to ensure effective implementation of government policies and programs in the power sector.
The meeting ended on a positive note with a shared commitment from all officials to redouble efforts towards strengthening the power infrastructure and revenue system for the benefit of the people of Sikkim.
