Inaugurates Training Programme on Electrician and Domestic Solutions
Dentam, 27th August,2025:
Dentam Livelihood School successfully inaugurated a Training Programme on Electrician and Domestic Solutions under the Pradhan Mantri Anusuchit Jaati Abhudya Yojna (PMAJAY) of the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India,today, organised by State Institute of Capacity Building (SICB) Skill Development Department, Government of Sikkim.
The programme is aimed to enhance the livelihood opportunities of Scheduled Caste (SC) beneficiaries through skill development.
The event was graced by the presence of Zilla Member 13/Dentam Begha Territorial Constituency Mr Dinesh Gurung as the Chief Guest, and Panchayat President, Dentam Mangmoo GPU Mr Mahendra Gurung as the Guest of Honour.
Also present were Assistant Director, Sikkim Institute of Capacity Building (SICB) Mr CK Chettri, Instructor Mr Rupen Sharma, and VAA Ms Nenuka Chettri.
A total of 30 trainees participated in the training programme, which focused on equipping youth with practical skill in electrical works and domestic solutions, thereby providing avenues for self-employment and gainful jobs.
