Aadi Karmayogi under Dharti Aabha Jan Jantiya Gramin Utkarsh Abhiyan, a visionary Scheme launched by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs is a cadre-based movement designed to transform grassroots governance and service delivery in tribal regions of India. It is a janandolan, a people’s movement. At its core is the ambition to build a cadre of 20 lakh trained, motivated, and mission-ready change leaders, who will operate in over 1 lakh tribal-dominated villages across 30 States/UTs, 550+ districts, and 3,000 blocks, reaching and uplifting over 10.5 crore tribal citizens.
Aadi Karmayogis are a diverse cadre—including serving and former government officers, youth leaders, teachers, health workers, social activists, traditional knowledge holders, and volunteers— working from the Centre to remote PVTG habitations to ignite a vibrant tribal renaissance.
Further, The Mangan district in total has 30 villages under four blocks, wherein a District Level Master Trainers along with Block Level Trainers, Village level Trainers and NGOs/ CSOs are formed for the implementation of the Aadi Karmayogi under DAJGUA.
The scheme launched by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs aims to deliver government services to the Tribal of the grassroots level.
During the implementation of the scheme other line departments of the state shall also be included, in which the departments shall also provide outreach to the tribal at village level with various governmental schemes.
The objective of the Aadi Karmayogi aligns with MoTAs Vision 2030 in which the ministry aims to outreach the tribals of the nation.
