YOUNG TALENT ARTISTES AWARD 2023-24, 2024-25 & 2025-26
The North East Zone Cultural Centre, Ministry of Culture, Government of India, Dimapur invites application for Young Talent Artistes Award for the year 2023-24, 2024-25 & 2025-26 from outstanding candidates in the categories of Folk & Tribal Music/Song & Dance, Theatre, Dance, Drama, Mime, Painting, Wood, Cane & Bamboo Crafts, Traditional Handloom & Handicrafts, Pottery etc.
Young artistes/artisans in the age group of 18 to 30 years (as on 31st March, 2023) are eligible to apply for the award.
The award consists of Rs. 20,000/-, Citation and Memento.
Candidates should be an Indian citizen and indigenous to the eight North Eastern States i.e., Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim & Tripura. Candidates who have received any such Awards (State/National) earlier in the same field are not eligible for the Scheme.
Deserving artistes/artisans may collect the Application Form from the office of the Directorate of Art & Culture/ Cultural Affairs, Government of the concerned State or Shilpgram, Panjabari, Guwahati and Headquarter Office, Dimapur. The form is available in NEZCC website https://nezccdimapur.org.in/Home/Advertisement.
Screening of the applications will be done by the respective State Department. Applications of the shortlisted candidates should reach the Office of the NEZCC latest by 15th August, 2025. No application will be entertained thereafter.
