72nd Bn SSB Restores Traffic on Rimbi-Darap Road after Landslide
Gyalshing,July 29:A landslide occurred on the Rimbi-Darap road near Rimbi Waterfalls, approximately 150 meters towards Darap, due to continuous heavy rainfall in the area on July 28, 2025. The incident, which disrupted traffic movement, was reported to the 72nd Bn SSB by locals at 9:15 PM.
Under the guidance of the Commandant, a rescue and relief team led by Dy. Commandant Meghnath Raut was promptly dispatched to the site. The team worked tirelessly to clear the debris and restore normalcy.
Thanks to their bravery and diligence, traffic movement on the Rimbi-Darap road has been restored. Passengers and local villagers have expressed their appreciation for the prompt action taken by the 72nd Bn SSB in restoring road connectivity.
