Rozgar Mela Organized Under the Sikkim INSPIRES Program
Rangpo, July 25, 2025:
The Niyukti Kendra, under the Skill Development Department, Government of Sikkim, successfully organized a Rozgar Mela on 25th July 2025 at Government ITI, Rangpo. This employment fair was held under the Sikkim INSPIRES initiative and as part of the Pradhan Mantri National Apprenticeship Mela (PMNAM) for the month
of July 2025.
The objective of the Rozgar Mela was to promote local employment opportunities,
foster industry-institute collaboration, and encourage apprenticeship among the
youth of Sikkim.
Participating Establishments:
A total of 12 esteemed organizations took part in the event: -

2. Mink Wolf Concepts
3. Torrent Pharmaceuticals
4. Savi Health Science
5. Intas Pharmaceuticals Ltd.
6. Deltin Corp Ltd.
7. Meraki Wellness
8. Mankind Pharma Ltd.
9. C.G Foods India PVT. Ltd.
10. Zuventus Healthcare Ltd.
11. Rajsons Motors
12. Yuwashakti Foundation
Participation & Outcomes:
The event saw an enthusiastic turnout of 212 candidates, including job seekers and
ITI trainees, who participated in various recruitment and apprenticeship processes.
As a result of the event:
• 17 candidates were selected for Apprenticeship and Job opportunities.
• 78 candidates were shortlisted for technical or second-round interviews with
participating companies.
Additionally, employment requirements were submitted by:
• Apex Motorcycles
• Entel Motors
• Alkem Health Science
The Niyukti Kendra will be compiling candidate profiles from the day’s registrations that align with these company requirements and will share them shortly.
The next Pradhan Mantri National Apprenticeship Mela is scheduled to be held in August 2025 at:
• Government ITI Namchi
• Government ITI Kewzing
This Rozgar Mela reaffirmed the importance of creating strong linkages between
industry and skilled youth, paving the way for a more robust and inclusive local
employment ecosystem in Sikkim.
