CCTV FOOTAGE CAUGHT THE PERSON DUMPING GARBAGE AROUND SEGREGATION UNIT AT PAKHRIN GAON, NAMCHI
Namchi, 24 July:
Despite of several awareness and sensitization, some unknown irresponsible people are throwing garbage around segregation unit at Pakhrin Gaon under Boomtar Salleybong GPU. Fortunately this act of carelessness was caught by CCTV installed at this point to observe such acts.
On the evening of 19th July 2025, the person dumping garbage around segregation unit at pakhrin gaon was captured on CCTV and the incident was reported to BDO Namchi.
Acting upon this act, BDO Namchi immediately held a meeting with Ward Panchayat Mr Einosh Rai and rushed to the spot where the culprit was penalized as per Solid Waste Management Act 2016. Later he quickly removed all the scattered garbages from the spot.
