Prana Pratishtha Puja of newly constructed Shiva temple in Rajbhavan concluded Today on the second holy Monday of the month of Savan, Prana Pratishtha Puja was conducted formally at the newly constructed Shiva temple in Rajbhavan campus by Hon'ble Governor of Sikkim Shri Om Prakash Mathur. Honorable Chief Minister of the state Mr. Prem Singh Tamang had a dignified presence on this occasion. On this auspicious day special pooja-archana was held in the temple, in which the Hon'ble Governor and Chief Minister prayed devotionfully for the happiness, peace and prosperity of the people of the state. Under the inauguration ceremony, both the honourables planted Rudraksha and Bell tree, which reflects the eternity of Shiva Tattva. It also conveys the message of environmental awareness and natural balance. On this occasion, the fish were immersed in the holy Jalkund, which species like goldfish and no carp were revered. Prasad was distributed after the conclusion of the ceremony. Cabinet Secretary Mr. V on this occasion. B. Reader, Chief Secretary Mr. R.
