Sikkim State Civil Service to adopt Rhenock Rungdung Government Primary School
Gangtok, July 19, 2025: Mr. Dushyant Pariyar, SCS, President of the Sikkim State Civil Service Officers’ Association (SSCSOA) and Secretary to the Government of Sikkim (Panchayati Raj), visited Rhenock Rungdung Government Primary School in Pakyong District today. This visit is part of SSCSOA’s outreach initiative to support government schools in remote areas by providing sustainable, essential facilities.
The SSCSOA has introduced structured programs, including School Adoption for Development, Mission – Connect Earth for Revival of Barren Land, and initiatives focused on sanitation and environmental sustainability. These programs are designed to maximize the involvement of Sikkim Civil Service Officers (SCS) and their active engagement in social outreach.
The adoption of Rhenock Rungdung Government Primary School aims to enhance infrastructure and meet essential requirements in underserved schools, fostering holistic development for students and the institution. During the visit, Mr. Pariyar engaged with the school’s teachers to identify priority areas for assistance, ensuring targeted support from SSCSOA.
