Namchi, 19 July : Block Administrative Centre, Yangang today conducted a successful distribution of GCI sheets, under Namchi District, as part of the State Government’s initiative to ensure safe and secure housing for all.
Beneficiaries from the GPUs of Yangang Rangang, Sripatam Gagyong, Niya Mangzing, Kolthang Tokday GPU and Sangha Quota under 15-Rangang Yangang Constituency received GCI sheets during the program.
The event was chaired by Smt. Raj Kumari Thapa, Hon'ble Deputy Speaker, Sikkim Legislative Assembly & Honourable Area MLA. She was accompanied was by CEC Vice President Shri RK Basnett, Advisor to Food Processing Industries Shri CL Gurung, OSD to Agriculture Department Shri SB Rai, OSD to Honourable Deputy Speaker Smt Denkila Bhutia, CLC President Shri Tengayla Namka, ADC (Dev) Shri Sunil Mothey, SDM Yangang Shri KL Dahal, BDO Yangang Smt. Needay Bhutia, SHO Yangang, Honourable Zilla Panchayats, Honourable Panchayat Presidents, Honourable Panchayat members, officials from various departments, CEC Level, DEC Level and CLC level SKM executives, members from the frontal wings of SKM party, officials of BAC Yangang and beneficiaries.
The GCI distribution drive is part of a statewide initiative by the Government of Sikkim to support rural families in improving the structural safety of their homes, especially in high rainfall and hilly areas. We would like to congratulate all the beneficiaries who got this scheme.
