A newly constructed SGAY (Sikkim Garib Awas Yojana) house was officially inaugurated today, Wednesday, 16 July 2025, at Lower Sripatam under Sripatam Gagyong, falling under 15-Rangang Yangang Constituency.
Beneficiary: Shri Dilli Ram Bahun.
Location: Lower Sripatam, Sripatam Gagyong GPU, Yangang Block.
The inauguration ceremony was graced by Hon’ble Deputy Speaker (SLA) cum Area MLA Smt. Raj Kumari Thapa, who officially inaugurated the SGAY house.
The program was attended by a host of dignitaries and officials including:

The Sikkim Garib Awas Yojana (SGAY) is a welfare housing scheme launched by the Government of Sikkim with the aim to provide safe, secure, and permanent housing to the economically weaker sections of society, especially those living in vulnerable rural areas.
