“Best Training Provider of the Year 2025” awarded to Mangalbarey Livelihood School, Soreng District, during the World Youth Skills Day Celebration 2025
On the occasion of World Youth Skills Day 2025, the Skill Development Department, Government of Sikkim, observed the day in a grand state-level celebration under the aegis of Sikkim Inspires on 15th July 2025.
The program was graced by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Sikkim, along with esteemed Ministers, Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs), and the Member of Parliament. The event highlighted the state’s commitment to empowering youth through skill development initiatives.
As part of the celebration, the department felicitated alumni of ITIs and DDU-GKY, acknowledging their dedication and success in the field of skill training and employment.
The highlight of the event was the “Best Training Provider of the Year 2025” award, which was conferred upon Mangalbarey Livelihood School, Soreng District, for its outstanding contribution towards skilling the youth of Sikkim. The Managing Director of Himali Vikash Sanstha, Shri Jaganath Sharma, received the prestigious award on behalf of the organization.
