Press Release from the Sikkim State Civil Service Officers undergoing training at NCGG, Mussoorie

A 5-day training program was organised for 24 Sikkim State Civil Officers by the Department of Personnel, Government of Sikkim at the National Centre for Good Governance , Mussoorie, Uttrakhand, from 7th to 11th July, 2025.
The training primarily focused on Advanced Leadership Development for the officers of the State. The Resource Persons comprised of senior faculty members from Lall Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration, retired IAS officers and prominent faculty members from IIT/IIMs. The highly qualified Resource Persons guided the officers through an intellectually stimulating journey covering topics on both ancient wisdom and cutting edge technology.
Leadership lessons from Mahabharata and Gita along side sessions on AI, explored the potential technology holds for governance.
The Sikkim State Civil Service officers also presented case study on three topics:
1. Organic Mission
2. Declining Total Fertility Rate
3. Tourism
The training also included exposure field visit to the campus of Lall Bahadur Shastri Academy of Administration . The officers express their gratitude and appreciation to the State Government for the training program and exposure trip.
