Successful reconstruction of the damaged bridge on the Samvay Nayapatal track
Gyalshing,July11:
The wooden bridge (on Sakim Dhoban Khola River) located on the track connecting the Dhoban BOP to COY HQR Nayapatal 72 Bn SSB Yuksam was completely damaged due to the recent swift flows in the river. This bridge was extremely important for transportation in the area, especially for the 72nd Battalion, SSB, and the local villagers. Under the skilled guidance of the Commandant of the 72nd Battalion, SSB, the personnel from Coy HQR Nayapatal and the villagers have successfully reconstructed this bridge, showcasing their indomitable courage, cooperation, and hard work.
This reconstruction work was completed with limited resources and challenging geographical conditions, which reflects the determination of the Armed Border Force and the local citizens. This important project has not only restored local transportation but has also strengthened the security arrangements in the area.
The 72 BN Sashastra Seema Bal Yuksam has always played a leading role in providing security as well as humanitarian assistance and cooperation in border areas, and will continue to work in this spirit.
