Director General of Police engages with general public, students and police personnel in Phodong, Mangan District
Mangan, July 7:
As part of the Dharti Aaba Janbhagidari Abhiyan (Role of Police in Tribal Areas) and to strengthen community engagement, today the Director General of Police Shri Akshay Sachdeva graced Phodong Senior Secondary School in Mangan District with his presence.
During the visit, the DGP interacted with the members of the general public and students. The DGP provided his valuable insights on key issues like cyber crime, mental health, role and importance of police in prevention of crime.
Later in the afternoon, the DGP conducted a briefing session with police personnel from Phodong P.S and Kabi OP. The DGP laid importance on mental and physical health in the day to day policing work, and reiterated a zero tolerance on drug abusers and trafficking. He also emphasised the ongoing initiative vision/mission 25, a roadmap for achieving a stronger and effective police force by the year 2025. The Mangan District Police sincerely express its gratitude to the DGP for honouring the police force with his presence today.
