Three-Month Financial Inclusion Campaign commence in Pakyong District.
Pakyong, July 05:
Under the nationwide initiative for saturation of flagship Financial Inclusion schemes — PMJDY, PMJJBY, PMSBY, and APY, a three-month campaign from 01st July 2025 to 30th September 2025 was formally launched today in Pakyong District.
To mark the commencement, 04 Special Camps were organized at:
East Pandam GPU
Taza GPU
Bering Tareythang GPU
Regu GPU
These camps were successfully conducted under the guidence and support of District Collector Pakyong District Shri Agawane Rohan Ramesh IAS; ADC (Dev) Shri Robin Pd. Sewa; LDM Pakyong District Shri Pradeep Ahmed; Banks Staff, BCs and active participation by GPU Staff.

Activities Carried Out:
Re-verification of KYC for inactive PMJDY accounts
Opening of new PMJDY bank accounts for unbanked individuals
Enrolments under PMJJBY & PMSBY

A good number of citizens turned up at the camps, with on-the-spot enrolments conducted by the banks.
Financial awareness sessions were also conducted to inform and educate the public about the benefits of these important schemes.
