BDO Gyalshing organises Awareness and Benefit Saturation Camps under Dharti AABA Janbhagidari Abhiyan at 13/Darap-Singpheng and 15/Yangtey Gram Panchayat Units
Gyalshing,July 4:
As part of the State Government’s continuing efforts to strengthen inclusive governance and uplift tribal communities, two Awareness and Benefit Saturation Camps were successfully conducted under the Dharti AABA Janbhagidari Abhiyan at 13/Darap-Singpheng Gram Panchayat Unit on 3rd July 2025 and at 15/Yangtey Gram Panchayat Unit on 4th July 2025. These events were coordinated by the Office of the Block Development Officer, Gyalshing.
The objective of the camps was to ensure the effective and targeted delivery of various Central and State Government schemes to eligible rural households, particularly focusing on the tribal population. The initiative aimed to bring government services closer to the people by facilitating on-the-spot access to essential schemes related to health, social welfare, financial inclusion, and agriculture.
The programmes witnessed the presence of the Zilla Members,BDO Gyalshing,ADs(PRI), Panchayat representatives, officials from multiple government departments, and the staff of the Gram Panchayat Units. Their presence reflected a strong commitment to interdepartmental collaboration and responsive governance.
Key line departments including the Department of DESME, Food and Civil Supplies, Health (Ayushman Bharat), Women and Child Development, Agriculture, Horticulture, and Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) were actively involved. In addition, financial institutions such as SBI, HDFC Bank, Union Bank of India, SISCO Bank, IDBI, and Central Bank of India extended their support by facilitating access to scheme-linked financial services.
A wide range of welfare schemes and services were facilitated during the camps, such as Aadhaar enrolment, Ayushman Bharat health cards, PM Kisan, PM Matru Vandana Yojana, pension schemes, ration card services, caste and domicile certificates, Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana, Kisan Credit Cards, and several flagship insurance and social security schemes. Programmes like the PM Vishwakarma Yojana, PM Ujjwala Yojana, Mudra Yojana, Stand-Up India, and Van Dhan Yojana were also made available to the public, along with immunisation and health testing services.
The camps featured citizen engagement initiatives such as dedicated selfie points to promote awareness and participation. These efforts complemented the service delivery mechanisms and encouraged attendees to better understand the schemes available to them.
These Awareness and Benefit Saturation Camps under the Dharti AABA Janbhagidari Abhiyan stand as a testament to the government’s proactive approach to ensuring last-mile delivery of welfare schemes. By empowering rural households through direct access to services, the initiative reaffirmed the collective goal of social equity, participatory governance, and holistic rural development- leaving no one behind.
