Report on Block Level Banker's Meet
Namchi, 30 June:
A Block level Banker's meet was convened on 30th June 2025 at the office of the Block Development Officer, BAC Namchi.
The meet was attended by Mr. Amit Lamichaney, LDM SBI as a Resource person. Representatives of banks viz. CBI, SBI, UCO, SISCO, HDFC, Bandhan Bank, Canara Bank, PNB which are operating their business under Namchi Block were present during the meet.
The meeting was arranged and organised by Mr. Sonam Roika, Branch Manager HDFC ,Namchi Branch as Lead Bank.
There were discussions on various Social Security Schemes like Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana(PMJJBY) a Government Life Insurance scheme of Rs. 2 lakhs in case of death due to any cause available to people between 18-50 years of age with an annual premium of Rs.436/- with a period coverage from 1st June-31st May.
Also the bank personnel discussed on Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana(PMSBY) Life Insurance, a personal Accidental Insurance scheme providing a coverage for accidental death offering a sum of Rs. 2 lakhs with a premium of Rs.20/- per annum.
The meeting also took reviews on various Government schemes such as Kishan Credit card (KCC),Mudra Loan etc.
