IEC Campaign for “Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan (DAJGUA)” & Janjatiya Gaurav Varsh
Venue: 01 Samdong Sribadam GPU, Soreng District.
The Social Welfare Department Soreng District, in collaboration with Samdong Health and Wellness Centre HWC and Rinchapong Physical Health Center PHC, successfully conducted an Information, Education & Communication (IEC) Campaign under the Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan (DAJGUA) and Janjatiya Gaurav Varsh at 01 Samdong Sribadam GPU, which has been identified as a tribal village under the DAJGUA initiative.
Objective:
The campaign was organized to commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of Bhagwan Birsa Munda, the first tribal freedom fighter of India, and to raise awareness as well as ensure the saturation of government welfare schemes in tribal-centric areas.

Key Highlights:
- 43 patients screened for Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs).
- 60 beneficiaries provided with PM-JAY ID Cards.
- 2 New Aadhar enrollment and 41 Aadhar update and corrections has been done.
- Awareness sessions conducted on Central Government social welfare schemes and national scholarship programmes.
The campaign received enthusiastic participation from the local community, including senior citizens, students, patients, children, and villagers, reflecting the success of the outreach initiative.
