72nd Bn, SSB Yuksam organises Awareness Rally and Workshop under "Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan"
On June 26, 2025,
under the "Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan" (Drug-Free India Campaign), the 72nd Battalion, Sashastra Seema Bal, Yuksam, organised an inspiring and awareness-driven programme at Government Junior High School, Tathang (Yuksam). This event was conducted under the able guidance of the Commandant, 72nd Battalion, whose leadership continues to prioritize social responsibility and public welfare through consistent efforts.
The programme commenced with an informative workshop in the school premises, where students were made aware of various types of substance abuse, and their adverse impacts on health and social life. Following the workshop, a powerful awareness rally was carried out through Tathang village, echoing slogans such as “Say No to Drugs, Say Yes to Life” and “Healthy Society, Bright Future.” The rally served as a significant step toward spreading awareness about drug de-addiction among the masses.
Personnel of the 72nd Battalion, along with school teachers and students, participated in the rally with great enthusiasm. All participants contributed with discipline and a sense of dedication in spreading this important social message to the public.
This campaign by the 72nd Battalion, Sashastra Seema Bal, is a commendable and effective initiative aimed at bringing positive change in society, guiding youth towards the right path, and building a drug-free, healthy, and aware community
