Raj Bhavan, Gangtok, celebrated the Statehood Day of West Bengal with great enthusiasm and cultural vibrancy at its Conference Hall. The celebration was a tribute to the spirit of Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat, an initiative by the Government of India that aims to strengthen unity and promote the rich cultural diversity of our great nation.
The event commenced with a welcome address by Ms. Deeki Pema, PRO to the Hon’ble Governor.
Shri Santosh Baniya, ADC to the Hon’ble Governor, delivered a brief speech highlighting the rich cultural heritage of West Bengal. He emphasized the significance of the occasion in celebrating the vibrant history, traditions, and contributions of the state.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Shri Palzor Tamang.
