Viksit Krishi Sankalp Abhiyan continues at Soreng and Gyalshing District
Gyalshing June 11:
The 11th day of Viksit Krishi Sankalp Abhiyan (VKSA) was held at Yangtey, Yangthang, Khopikharka-Pega Goan and Malbasey villages of Soreng and Gyalshing district in collaboration with ICAR-Gangtok Centre, NRC Orchid, Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry and Fisheries departments, Government of Sikkim.
The Chief guest of the programme in Khopikharka-Pega Goan and Malbasey were Mr Sancha Hang Limboo and Ms Pabitra Bhandari (Panchayat Presidents), Ms Kaushila Chettri (Panchayat Vice President) along with Panchayat members. The dignitaries from allied departments present were Dr Pratap Subba (Additional Director-cum-VKSA State Nodal Officer), Mr Pranaya Gurung (Additional Director Agriculture), Mr Bhison Pradhan (Sr Scientist & Head) Dr Tamilarasan Kl Scientist ICAR, Mr Manish Pradhan (Dy. Director Agriculture), Mr DP Sharma (Dy. Director Horticulture), Mr Bhanu Kr Chettri (Horticulture),Dr Sharin Gurung (VO Animal Husbandry), Ms Amisha Limboo (ADO Agriculture), Mr Yowa Raj Sharma (AD Fisheries), Mr JP Dulal (SMS KVK West Sikkim), Ms Phurba Diki Sherpa (Training Assistant), Mr Malum Dhoj Subba,Mr Biswadeep Limboo and Mr Kamal Chettri (Assistants).
Whereas, the Chief guest of the programme in Yangtey and Yangthang under Gyalshing district were Mr Kharka Bdr Limboo, Mr Som Nath Sharma (Panchayat Presidents). The dignitaries present were Mr Karma Sherpa (Additional Director, Agri/Horti Department), Dr Amit Kumar, Scientist ICAR, Ms Penzomla Bhutia Dy. Director Horticulture, Dr Pramada Gurung Dy. Director Animal Husbandry, Mr Kussang Sherpa Block Officer from Fisheries department, Ms Rohini Silwal, SMS KVK, Mr Bijay Biswakarma, SMS KVK, Ms Til K Limboo, SMS KVK, Lakpa Tsh Bhutia (Assistant).
