Sikkim Book Fair -2025: Mangan Edition starts with a bang
Mangan, 24 May 2025:
With an objective to further infuse the habit of reading books amongst school children across Mangan district and Sikkim, 24hours Inspired, an educational firm based out of Gangtok and North Sikkim Academy, Mangan collaborated to conduct Sikkim Book Fair 2025.
The two-day book fair, starting on the 24th of May and concluding on the 25th of May 2025 had Principal, Singhik Secondary School, Shri. Sonam Dorji Bhutia as Chief Guest.
Speaking on the book fair, the Chief Guest congratulated the organizers for bringing the ecosystem of reading to Mangan district and encouraged the students to avail the benefit from the book fair.
The welcome address was provided by the Principal, North Sikkim Academy, Shri. Rajesh Sharma who highlighted on the importance of Sikkim Book Fair 2025 and encouraged everyone to visit the book fair and spend as much as time surrounding themselves with the books available.
Speaking on the occasion, Shri. Dewaker Basnet, Chief Learning Officer, 24hours Inspired highlighted on the importance of reading books and how 24hours Inspired has over the years contributed towards creating an ecosystem of reading and learning.
The first day had hundreds of students and teachers from schools around Mangan and apart from the book fair engaged themselves with activities including poem writing and reading, story writing, games and activities and panel discussions where schools from other schools actively participated as panelists.
