DATE: 20.05.2025 Shri Sanjeev Kumar Singh, the newly appointed Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Sector Headquarters, Gangtok, Sikkim called on the Hon’ble Governor of Sikkim, Shri Om Prakash Mathur, at Raj Bhavan today. DIG was accompanied by the Commandant Shri Samar Bahadur Singh of the 13th Battalion, ITBP, Gangtok. During the meeting, the Hon’ble Governor warmly welcomed Shri Singh and extended his best wishes as he assumes his new responsibilities. He noted that Sikkim, owing to its strategic location, plays a vital role in national security. The Hon’ble Governor expressed confidence that under Shri Singh’s leadership, both the security of the region and the development of border areas would be further strengthened. DIG Shri Sanjeev Kumar Singh expressed his gratitude to the Hon’ble Governor for his kind words and assured his full commitment to performing his duties with sincerity and dedication.
