Education in Namchi Block: 3-Day Visioning Workshop Sets a Bold Course Forward 16–18 May 2025 | Officer’s Club, Namchi Namchi, 20 May: In a landmark initiative under the Aspirational Block Programme, the Namchi Block Visioning Workshop brought together 75+ education stakeholders for an extensive 3-day dialogue, reflection, and planning session — co-hosted by the Azim Premji Foundation, District Administration, and the ABP team. From Heads of Institutions, teachers, CRCs, BRCs, DIET faculty, to senior officials including the District Collector, the workshop was a powerful convergence of voices united by a single goal: to transform the educational landscape of Namchi Block. Key highlights: • Collective visioning of an ideal educational ecosystem rooted in inclusivity, quality, and measurable impact • Strategic deep-dives into NAS & ABP indicators, with a focus on increasing the percentage of students scoring 60%+ in board exams • Stakeholder mapping to clarify institutional mandates and foster accountability • Emphasis on personal effectiveness and leadership in education • Development of a long-term, collaborative intervention roadmap for schools and educators By the end of the workshop, participants walked away not only with a shared mission statement for Namchi’s education future, but also with renewed purpose, actionable strategies, and a sense of ownership. This workshop marked a significant step towards realizing a shared educational vision for Namchi — one rooted in collaboration, innovation, and long-term impact.
