Sikkim’s Yasika Rai to Represent India at Thailand Open International Boxing Tournament 2025 Gangtok, Sikkim | 19 May 2025 – The Sikkim Amateur Boxing Association (SABA) is proud to announce that Ms. Yasika Rai, daughter of Mr. Mahesh Kumar Rai and Mrs. Bhayatri Rai of Sikkim, has been selected to represent India at the prestigious Thailand Open International Boxing Tournament, scheduled to be held from 22nd May to 2nd June 2025 in Bangkok, Thailand. Hailing from Namchi, Yasika began her boxing journey under the mentorship of her foundation coaches Mr. Mukesh Rai and Mr. Subas Tamang, who played a key role in nurturing her early talent. With consistent performances at both state and national levels, Yasika has proven herself to be a determined and gifted athlete, ready to take on the international stage.
