Hon’ble Chief Minister Launches “Public Purse” Magazine at Kuzu Cultural Festival Curtain Raiser
Gangtok, April 29, 2025 –
The magazine was formally unveiled by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Sikkim, Shri Prem Singh Tamang (Golay), in the gracious presence of Hon’ble Madam Krishna Rai during the Curtain Raiser ceremony of the upcoming Kuzu Cultural Festival. The event was marked by cultural vibrancy and a strong reaffirmation of Sikkim’s commitment to financial transparency, heritage, and progress.
Public Purse showcases strategic insights into Sikkim’s financial transformation, highlights key developmental milestones, and features contributions from distinguished public servants and thought leaders. With articles spanning governance reforms, fiscal policies, social welfare, and cultural identity, the magazine encapsulates the state’s journey toward a "Sunaulo, Samriddha ani Samarth Sikkim" (Golden, Prosperous, and Capable Sikkim).
The launch also celebrated the dedication of all contributors and stakeholders who helped bring this edition to life, reflecting a shared commitment to excellence in public service.
