Renowned folk dancer and singer from Sikkim, Mr Naren Gurung, was honoured with the prestigious Padma Shri Award by the President of India, Smt Droupadi Murmu, at a ceremonial event held in New Delhi.
Mr Gurung’s recognition stands as a testament to his exceptional contribution towards the preservation and promotion of Sikkim’s rich folk traditions and cultural heritage.
