Gyalshing,April 8:As per the directive of the Superintendent of Police, Gyalshing District, a sensitization programme on Form-C was successfully conducted at VAC Hall, Hee Gaon, for owners and managers of hotels, homestays and lodges operating under the jurisdiction of Dentam Police Station.
The programme was effectively led and coordinated by PI Aita Hang Subba, SHO, Dentam Police Station. During the session, participants were briefed on the mandatory requirement of submitting Form-C for every foreign national accommodated at their establishments through the Government's online portal.
In-depth presentations were made outlining the legal obligations of accommodation providers under Foreigners Act, 1946 and Registration of Foreigners Rules, 1992, including the penal provisions for non-compliance.
Personnel from SIB Uttarey and SB Dentam were also present during the session to assist in addressing queries and clarifying operational doubts. The importance and sensitivity of adhering to these protocols from a national security perspective were emphasized by the SIB officials.
The programme witnessed active participation and constructive engagement from stakeholders, reflecting a shared commitment to ensuring compliance with legal provisions concerning foreign guests.
