Namchi, 21 March : District Education Office, Samagra Shiksha, Namchi under the intervention of Rashtriya Avishkar Abhiyan successfully conducted the District level Quiz Competition and Science Exhibition cum competition on 20th March 2025 at New Secondary School, Namchi for the elementary and Secondary level of students on 20th March.
Schools from all the eight Blocks of the District participated with enthusiasm, making the event a grand success.
The quiz competition witnessed participation from eight different schools each in the Elementary and Secondary category, each team comprising of two students.
The contest covered various topics, including general knowledge, current affairs, Science, history and literature.
Winners of Elementary level Quiz contest were:

Second place: Sikkip Block
Third place: Sumbuk place
Winners of Secondary level Quiz contest were:
First place:Sumbuk Block
Second place: Yangang Block
Third place: Temi Block
SCIENCE EXHIBITION CUM COMPETITION
The Science Exhibition featured innovative models and experiments created by students from different schools.
The theme of the Science Exhibition was " Science and Technology for Sustainable Future."
The Exhibition was visited by Additional Director, DEO, Namchi, Shri D.B Rai, Deputy Director DEO Shri K.B Gurung and Deputy Director Jorethang sub- Division Shri T. Gyatso .
Winners in Elementary level Science Exhibition cum competition were:
1st: Lingyong JHS
2nd: Bhaisalgaon JHS
3rd: Dojak JHS
Winners in the Secondary level were:
1st : Temi SSS
2nd: Melli Gumpa SSS
3rd: Turuk SS
All the participants were awarded certificate of participation and the Winners were awarded certificates, trophies and gift hampers.
Both the events were a resounding success, fostering a spirit of learning and curiosity among students.
It was a great platform for young minds to showcase their knowledge and scientific temperament.
