*One Day Career Guidance and Interactive session*
One day Career Guidance and Interactive session was conducted today i.e. on 25.02.2025 at Conference Hall, Nar Bahadur Bhandari Government College by Sikkim Government Law College, Burtuk.
The programme was organised as an initiative from Helping Hands, NGO and ALS, IAS Coaching, Delhi.
The Session was attended by Mr. Robin Hibu, IPS, Special Commissioner of Police/DGP, Delhi, and President, Helping Hands, NGO, Madam G.P.Hibu, Mr.Manish Gautam, Chief Executive Director, ALS IAS Coaching, Dr. T.D.Lama, Principal, SGLC, Dr.D. Purohit, Principal, NBBGC, Dr. Dilip Pandey, Dean, SGLC, Mr. Munna Pradhan , ADM, NBBGC, Members of Faculty and Students of Law College, ICFAI University and NBBGC.
Dr. Lama welcomed the guests and thanked Helping Hands and ALS IAS for the noble initiative.
Addressing the gathering, Mr. Robin Hibu enlightened the students about the grim reality of career advancement and offered an earnest insight into his own civil services journey. He motivated the students to come forward and aim for the coveted place within the Indian Civil Services. Furthermore, he expressed his desire to put forward proposal to the State Authorities in order to identify and provide ALS, IAS scholarships to bright students from every constituency of the State of Sikkim.
Mr. Manish Gautam elaborated on the basic stages of learning and encouraged students to reach their ultimate aspiration. Additionally , Dr. Purohit also welcomed everyone on behalf of the NBBGC, Tadong.
The Programme ended with a very fruitful interactive session where the students engaged in putting forward their queries before the esteemed dignitaries.
The event concluded with Vote of Thanks proposed by Dr. Karma. D.Denzongpa while MC for the said event was Ms. Tshering Choden, Assistant professor, Sikkim Government Law College.
