West Point Senior Secondary School Girls’ Brass Band Triumphs, North Sikkim Academy Joins the Celebration
New Delhi, January 25, 2025:
The Girls’ Brass Band of West Point Senior Secondary School has made Sikkim proud by winning first place in the Girls’ Brass Band category at the National Level Competition 2024-25, held at Major Dhyan Chand Stadium, New Delhi. Their outstanding performance, perfect teamwork, and musical brilliance have set a new benchmark, bringing immense pride to the state.
Adding to this success, North Sikkim Academy secured the second position in the Pipe Band category. Their discipline and artistry highlight the rising musical talent among the youth of Sikkim.
The achievements of these schools were made possible by the guidance of their principals. The principal of West Point Senior Secondary School emphasized teamwork, discipline, and consistent practice, helping the girls’ band reach the top. Likewise, the principal of North Sikkim Academy provided strong support and encouragement to their talented students.
