Soreng, January 13:
Under the vision of Hon'ble Chief Minister of Sikkim Shri. Prem Singh Tamang (Golay) to make "Addiction free Sikkim and mentally healthy Sikkim" and under the guidance of Shri. Aditya Golay Area MLA Soreng Chakung Constituency and Shri Rohit Raj Gurung (Hon'ble Advisor to Hon'ble Chief Minister and Chief Resource Person Sarathi Organization) Second batch of students training under Soreng District on the module of SARATHI 1.0 was concluded on 13th January 2025. Total 28 students( 2 boys, 2 girls) from following Senior Secondary Schools under Soreng District had participated.

The training program aimed at enhancing awareness and providing essential skills for addressing addiction and promoting mental well-being among students.
The event saw a significant presence of dignitaries,

Before the starting of final day program Mrs Rajni Pega (DPO Disaster Management Soreng District) conducted the session on Disaster Risk Reduction Program.
The final day of the training program was marked by an engaging and vibrant session where the students whole heartily participated in following capacity Master of Ceremony by Miss. Sumina Gurung ( Govt. Senior Senior School Chota Samdung) & Master Prayas Tamang (SLDGK Senior Secondary School Mangalbaria), the offering of Khadas to the Guests by Miss Prava Tamang (SLDGK Senior Secondary School Mangalbaria) and Miss Tanuja Chettri (Govt Senior Secondary School Gelling), Welcome Speech by Miss Reeya Biswa (Govt Senior Secondary School Gelling) and Miss Udenla Bhutia ( K.B Limboo Senior Senior School Sribadam), Welcome Dance by Miss Sumina Gurung (Govt Senior Secondary School Chota Samdung), Bit Box by Master Anand Gurung ( K.B Limboo Senior Secondary School Sribadam) Song by Miss. Reeya Biswakarma (Govt Senior Secondary School Gelling), Dance by Miss Udenla Bhutia (K.B limboo Senior Secondary School Sribadam), Power Point Presentation by Miss Tashi Dolma Bhutia SLD Gk Senior Secondary School Mangalbaria) & Master Sailendra Gurung (K.B Limboo Senior Secondary School Sribadam) and Skit Presentation done by the Students on various topic.Experience sharing of day 1 by Miss Celestina Manger (Govt Senior Secondary School Khanisirbong) and Experience sharing of day 2 by Miss Ashmita Manger (Govt Senior Secondary School Kamling) and Vote of thanks by Miss Kunsangmit Lepcha (Govt. Senior Secondary School Chakung).
The successful completion of this training is a significant step toward the broader goal of creating a healthier, addiction-free Sikkim, and fostering mental well-being in the regions.
