The Hon’ble Speaker, Shri Mingma Norbu Sherpa Sikkim Legislative Assembly who is the member of Steering Committee of Commonwealth Parliamentary Association Small Branches attended Steering Committee meeting at Mckell Room, Parliament of New South Wales,
Sydney on 3rd November 2024.
The following agenda points were discussed:
1. Report from previous meeting,
2. Membership of the CPA Small Branches Steering Committee,
3. Update on progress in 2024,
4. Update on 67th CPC planning,
5. Implementation of work plan consultation 2025,
6. Reports from Steering Committee in CPA Branches and Region,
7. Elections of the Chairman and Vice Chairman.
The Steering Committee meeting was presided over by the Chairperson, Ms Joyburch, who is also the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly Australian Capital Territory.
The 40th CPA Small Branches Conference and 8th Commonwealth Wome Parliamentarians Conference and Workshop is scheduled to be held on 4th and 5th November, 2024 at ICCSydney, Australia.
