"Run for Ayurveda" Program Organized by Regional Ayurveda Research Institute, CCRAS, Ministry of Ayush, Government of India.
Gangtok, 28th October 2024:
In a step towards promoting Ayurveda and raising awareness about its health benefits, the Regional Ayurveda Research Institute (RARI), under the Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS), Ministry of Ayush, Government of India, organized the "Run for Ayurveda" program on the 28th of October 2024.
The event, which saw enthusiastic participation from the entire office staff of RARI, Gangtok, commenced at 7:00 AM from the institute's premises. The participants embarked on a scenic route, running from the institute to the Nar Bahadur Bhandari Government College Playground and then returning to the institute.
This initiative encouraged the public to adopt Ayurveda as a holistic approach to health and wellness while integrating physical fitness into their daily lives. The "Run for Ayurveda" also highlighted the pivotal role of Ayurveda in preventive healthcare and the importance of a balanced lifestyle. The event was marked by the energetic spirit of the participants, who successfully completed the run, symbolizing their dedication to promoting Ayurveda in the region.
