On the Sixth day of the nomination period for the upcoming Bye-Election 2024 in the 07-Soreng Chakung Assembly Constituency, One Candidate files his nomination
Soreng, October 24 (IPR):
On the Sixth day of the nomination process for the upcoming Bye-Elections 2024, one candidate submitted nomination papers at the office of the Returning Officer (Soreng), Mr Dhiraj Subedi. The candidate, Mr Prem Bahadur Bhandari, filed his nomination as Sikkim Democratic Front’s (SDF) candidate from the 07-Soreng Chakung Assembly Constituency.
In accordance with the guidelines set forth by the Election Commission of India (ECI), the final date for filing nominations is October 25, 2024 (Friday) from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The scrutiny of nominations will be conducted on October 28, 2024 (Monday), and the withdrawal of nominations can be made until October 30, 2024 (Wednesday).
The poll day is scheduled for November 13, 2024 (Wednesday).
