Friday Field Day: Day 3, Mission Revival of Barren Land for Cultivation.
Pakyong, 10 August: The Office of ADC (Dev), Pakyong is pleased to announce a significant achievement in reviving barren land for cultivation, made possible through the collective efforts of ADC.Dev. Office Pakyong District, with the support of Hon'ble Zilla Panchayat Members of 19 Territorial Constituencies, Hon'ble Panchayat Presidents, Vice Presidents and Hon'ble Panchayat Members of 28 Gram Panchayat Units, all Six Block Administrative Centres, all Assistant Directors of Panchayati Raj, Officers and Staffs of Agriculture and Horticulture Department, and all the old and newly appointed employees of all above Departmental Offices, are working hard in the barren lands for the transformation of barren lands into fertile grounds ready for cultivation.
This milestone marks a major victory for our collaborative approach, demonstrating the power of inter-departmental cooperation.
The objectives of our mission are as follows: Revival of barren land for cultivation;
•Inter-departmental collaboration among the Rural Development Department, Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry, Cooperation, Irrigation, and Forest Departments
•To improve soil fertility and implement water conservation techniques,
•To enhanced livelihood opportunities for local farmers and communities.
