On 3rd August,2024,Gangtok Municipal Corporation, in cooperation with District Hospital Singtam and GNS Builder, organized a health camp for landfill facility employees and the surrounding community. The event aimed to provide essential health services and raise health awareness.
The camp was attended by the Hon’ble Mayor, Hon’ble Dy Mayor of Gangtok, the Municipal Commissioner, and other officials, highlighting the importance of the initiative.
Services Provided
• Free Health Check-ups: Comprehensive health screenings, including blood pressure, diabetes testing, and consultations, were conducted by District Hospital Singtam.
• Free Medicines: Prescribed medicines were distributed at no cost.
