27th July 2024: The Centre for Computer and Communication Technology (CCCT), Chisopani successfully conducted 10-day Student Induction Program (SIP) to welcome and support our new students. The program was graced by several distinguished dignitaries.
On the last day, Shri Tshewang Gyachho, IAS, Secretary (Technical, Higher & Medical Education) was invited as Chief Guest and Shri Bhim Thatal, SCS, Special Secretary cum Director, Education Department was invited as Guest of Honour to encourage and inspire the new batch of students. We were also honoured to have Shri Praveen Kr Pradhan, OSD, NSBUOE, Soreng, Education Department (and former Principal, CCCT), and Dr BB Pradhan, Principal cum Director, Sikkim Institute of Science and Technology(SIST) as special guests.
The day started with the arrival and ceremonial plantation by the dignitaries as part of "Sikkim Paryavaran Parva," showcasing our commitment to environmental sustainability. This was followed by the lighting of Diya/Dipam Jyoti, symbolizing the light of knowledge and learning. The day's agenda continued with a welcome song and address, setting a warm and inclusive tone for the program.
The cultural performances added vibrancy to the event, with students showcasing their diverse talents. It was followed by an address by the Special Secretary cum Director where he highlighted the importance of Technical Education for students. A musical skit and a special SIP 2024 video highlighted the creativity and enthusiasm of our student community to our guests. The prize distribution and certification ceremony recognized the achievements of both students and faculty, further motivating all to strive for excellence.
The program concluded with an address by the Secretary (Technical, Higher & Medical Education) where he stressed the importance of discipline and hard work in student life, followed by a Vote of Thanks, the playing of the National anthem, and a memorable photo session with the dignitaries.
The overall success of SIP 2024 has set a positive tone for the new academic year, and we are excited to see the lasting impact it will have on our student's academic achievements and their overall college experience.
