International Olympic Day Celebration 2024
Under the direction from higher authority of Department of Sports and Youth Affairs Soreng District celebrated the International Olympic Day 2024 on the theme"Let's Move & Celebrate in the gracious presence of Chief Guest Shri Lobsang Tamang President Soreng District Olympic Association accompanied by Shri Navraj Sharma (treasurer SDOA), Shri Amber Gurung President & executive members of Soreng Badminton Association ,Mr.Arjun Gurung Assistant Director Sports & Youth Affairs Soreng, Coaches & athletes of Khelo India Centres, Students of SSAG,officers & staff members of Sports and Youth Affairs Soreng District.
The program started with welcome address & speech on Olympic Values by Mamita Gurung Deputy Director Sports and Youth Affairs followed by cutting of cake with the hand of Chief Guest & guests. Message of Hon'ble Minister Sports and Youth Affairs of Sikkim was read by Shri D.B Subba Assistant Director Sports and Youth Affairs Soreng and after that the chief guest gave the best wishes to all the participants & program continued with the following events:
