Raj Bhavan celebrates the West Bengal Foundation Day, honouring the profound history, vibrant culture, and enduring resilience of this esteemed state.
The event commenced with the presence of Secretary JD Bhutia, OSD Dr Shyam Narayan along with other officials and staff of Raj Bhavan. The faculties and studies of Kachendzonga State University, Sikkim Manipal University and India Metrological Department and residents of West Bengal
Following this, PRO Miss Deeki Pema Lepcha delivered a welcome address and a
Video message by the Hon’ble Governor of West Bengal, Shri CV Ananda Bose. The celebration also saw various cultural program, presented by the talented team from the India Meteorological Department, showcased the rich and enchanting cultural heritage of West Bengal.
Secretary Shri JD Bhutia presented insights and reflections on West Bengal Foundation Day and emphasised on it’s rich history.
SIA Miss Tashi Ongmu Bhutia was the Master of Ceremony of the program.
