The Hon’ble Area MLA, 08-Salghari Zoom Constituency, Shri Madan Cintury has taken charge of Office as Advisor, Skill Development Department, Government of Sikkim on 20th June 2024 at Shram Bhawan, Sokaythang, Lingding. Upon his arrival, he was accorded a warm welcome by the Secretary, Skill Development Department, Shri Karma Namgyal Bhutia, along with a host of senior officers and staff of the Department.
During his short interaction with officers and staff, the Secretary, Skill Development Department appraised the Hon’ble Advisor about the functions of the Department,existing strength of officers and staff, roles and responsibilities of different divisions of the Department including Administrative Section, DCTSE, Accounts, SICB, DCB and the Govt. Industrial Training Institutes. The Hon’ble Advisor has assured the Department of his guidance and stressed upon skilling of the women and youth of the State in order to make Sikkim a developed State.
It was further decided that the Hon’ble Advisor shall visit SICB, Karfectar where he would be interacting with all Officers and functionaries of the Department to chalk out future course of action of the Department with a view to uplift all sections of the society.
